Welcome to the Wee Rockets Preschool!
Wee Rockets CDC Preschool offers classes for children who are ages 3, 4, and 5. The preschool program is separated into one class for the three-year-olds and one class for the four- and five-year-olds. We use two separate curriculums for each class to provide focus toward the different developmental stages of the children.
Class meets: Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Children must be age 3 on or before August 31.
Our three-year-old curriculum focuses primarily on social skills. Focus is placed upon learning to share, interacting with others, and following instructions in a class environment. These are crucial steps in a child’s development, and we want them to “get along with their friends” prior to moving on to academics.
4 & 5-Year-Old Class
Class meets: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Children must be age 4 or 5 on or before August 31.
Children ages four and five work toward kindergarten readiness. Focus in the four- and five-year old class is placed upon getting your child ready for the kindergarten placement test that is required by USD 394. Our teachers also collaborate monthly with early education teachers at the Primary School, in order to facilitate the same vocabulary, curriculum, and class rules as the Rose Hill school district.
